Commercial Lines Account ManagerBuilt on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Jacksonville or Tallahassee, FL!The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for servicing commercial insurance accounts by reviewing renewals, processing policy documents, responding to client requests, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.How You Will Contribute:Process daily mail, including faxes and e-mail, for assigned accountsAnswer and process all telephone requests for assigned accountsEnter all required data into system to maintain current file data on all assigned accountsReview commercial applications, renewal requests and endorsements for adherence to underwriting authority and guidelines as established by the company's carriersPrepare and process binders of insurance, policies, endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, and cancellationsValidate coverages and ratings policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, etc.Maintain suspense or follow-up system for correspondence/requestsProcess premium finance agreements as neededPrepare billings and/or invoices on a timely basisAdvise accounting of the appropriate posting of moneys received on assigned accountsAssist in the collection of premiums and auditsProvide back-up to other Account Managers as assignedMaintain expiration recordsDevelop and maintain working relationship with the various company marketing representatives and underwritersMaintain favorable relationship with clients, producers, and employeesDevelop and maintain strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverages and ratingPerform clerical functions including, but not limited to submitting and sending faxes, proofreading and photocopying documentsOther duties may be assigned.Licenses and Certifications:4-40 P&C LicenseSkills & Experience to Be Successful:Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred)2-20 insurance license (preferred)Industry software experience (preferred)High school diplomaProficient with MS Office Suite2 years of service experience in the insurance industryTeammate Benefits & Total Well-BeingWe go beyond standard benefits, focusing on the total well-being of our teammates, including:Health Benefits: Medical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability InsuranceFinancial Benefits: ESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition ReimbursementMental Health & Wellness: Free Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy ServicesBeyond Benefits: Paid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more.Not reflective of all benefits.
