Commercial Lender – Wichita AreaFirst National Bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Lender to join our growing Commercial Lending team serving the Wichita and surrounding area market. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of commercial loan relationships while maintaining strong asset quality and delivering exceptional customer service.This role is ideal for a lender with an established market presence who values relationship banking and community involvement.Key Responsibilities:Originate, manage, and grow a portfolio of commercial loans with a focus on asset qualityDevelop new business relationships and expand existing customer relationships within the Wichita area marketAnalyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness to make sound underwriting decisions within approval authorityStructure, document, and close commercial loans in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirementsMaintain complete, current credit files including financial statements, cash flow analysis, and loan documentationMonitor portfolio performance and assist with collection efforts as neededCollaborate with loan staff and management to support overall lending and deposit growthActively participate in networking, community involvement, and business development activitiesComply with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations (including BSA, Patriot Act, and OFAC)Perform other duties as assignedQualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)Experience required in commercial lending with the ability to manage a commercial loan portfolio independentlyStrong relationship-building, sales, and communication skillsSolid credit analysis and underwriting abilitySelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office and related banking systemsExisting knowledge of the Wichita-area market strongly preferredOccasional travel within the market may be requiredCompensation & Benefits:Competitive compensation based on experienceComprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities
