A law firm seeks a skilled Commercial Law Attorney in Boston, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will provide practical, business-focused legal advice and representation, supporting transactional and advisory matters, managing commercial contracts, and working closely with clients and internal teams to mitigate risk and achieve client objectives.
Duties
Advise clients on commercial contracts, transactions, and compliance issues. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements. Conduct due diligence and legal research for transactions and commercial arrangements. Support or manage real estate matters and conveyancing-related documentation. Provide litigation support, including preparing pleadings and coordinating with external counsel. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure deals and ensure regulatory compliance. Manage multiple matters and client relationships, maintaining accurate files. Stay current with relevant laws and industry developments.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction and in good standing. Proven experience as an Attorney focusing on commercial law. Demonstrated skill in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently or as part of a team. Nice-to-have: Experience with real estate transactions and litigation.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree.
Certifications
Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
