Compensation Package

• Base Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 (Year 1), with a step-down structure in subsequent years.
• Commission Split: 40/30.
• Bonus Opportunities: Rewards for exceeding goals, with potential bonuses starting at $2MM in business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities in the small to middle market space.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and specialty agencies.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing, with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including CSRs, to ensure seamless policy changes, renewals, and remarketing efforts.
• Stay actively involved in client renewals and provide hands-on support as needed.
• Leverage access to a wide range of carriers, including AO, Travelers, Liberty, Utica, Nationwide, Acuity, and others, to meet client needs.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven experience in outside sales, with a strong hunter mentality.
• Familiarity with small to middle market commercial insurance, with a preference for candidates already operating in this space.
• Ability to generate $150,000 - $300,000 in revenue in the first year, with a goal of $1MM in revenue for top performers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented, with a passion for exceeding targets.
