Commercial Facilities Maintenance TechnicianWe are currently seeking a Commercial Facilities Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for performing complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds.Responsibilities:Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate following checklists and maintenance schedules.Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery.Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.Setup and removal of all holiday decorations.Building of planters and bases for art.Maintenance of parking garages and parking lot lighting following checklists and maintenance schedules.Handling maintenance calls from tenants.Report issues to Maintenance Manager.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Knowledge of and skill in use of standard tools, equipment, materials, methods, and practices of general maintenance taskKnowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of general maintenanceKnowledge of blueprints, schematics, and working drawingsAbility to use basic shop math applicationsAbility to locate and identify problems in appropriate building system or equipment and to plan and execute necessary repairsTo apply send resume to
