Responsible for preparing comprehensive and competitive proposals for both private and public construction projects – Ex: educational, institutional, hospitality, multi-family, and healthcare sectors.
Performing project take-offs, pricing materials and labor, and creating preliminary budgets.Key Responsibilities:Produce and deliver timely, accurate, and comprehensive proposals.Prepare and document quantity take-offs for materials and pricing.Review and compare accurate job costs.Evaluate bid documents and request material quotes.Understand all pertinent bid documents and qualify subcontractor proposals.Communicate effectively with the Estimating Department, Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers.Assist in the pre-construction process upon project award and start-up.Perform other duties as assigned.
