Position Summary: The Chiller Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Set up new chiller systems and components.
• Maintenance: Perform routine upkeep, including cleaning and adjustments.
• Repair: Diagnose and fix malfunctions in chiller systems.
• Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Inspection: Conduct regular system inspections to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities.
• Customer Service: Communicate with clients professionally, addressing concerns and providing recommendations.
• Emergency Response: Handle urgent service calls promptly.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience with chiller systems and HVAC equipment.
• Certifications: EPA Universal Certification and relevant chiller training.
• Skills: Mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration troubleshooting; proficiency with diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge: Understanding of chiller components and HVAC principles.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills.
