Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Chiller Technician in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX to provide expert diagnostic and maintenance services for large-scale commercial and industrial cooling systems.
Impact
- Ensures the continuous operation of critical infrastructure for commercial and industrial clients.
- Minimizes system downtime through proactive preventative maintenance and expert troubleshooting.
- Improves client energy efficiency by optimizing chiller performance.
- Supports the sales team by providing technical accuracy for site assessments and cost estimates.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and service air-cooled and water-cooled scroll and screw chillers.
- Repair and maintain centrifugal chiller systems to ensure peak operational efficiency.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance services according to client contractual agreements.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to both airside and waterside system components.
- Complete and submit detailed service documentation and equipment log sheets accurately.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to provide technical details for project jobsite assessments.
- Follow all safety protocols strictly to maintain a secure environment in safety-sensitive areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and high-quality tool inventory.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience servicing commercial chillers including scroll and screw technologies.
- Strong technical understanding of both airside and waterside HVAC systems.
- Valid driver license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal team members.
- Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining high productivity.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience performing major overhauls on centrifugal or screw chillers.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Prior experience working for a mechanical contractor in the DFW metroplex.

- Position is full-time with a service vehicle provided for business use.
- Local travel to various client sites throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
