Proman Skill Trades is currently seeking Combo Welders to join our team in the Austin, TX area!
Duties:
- Assemble and fabricate metal structures and equipment.
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.
- Utilize forklifts and other equipment as needed.
- Conduct quality checks using micrometers and other tools.
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick.
- 3+ years of experience
- Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel.
- Experience in construction site welding is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with machining processes is advantageous.
