Additional Job Description
West Virginia University School of Medicine - Eastern Division and the Department of Surgery seek a Colorectal Surgeon (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Duties
The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Colorectal Surgery. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility for state medical license.
- Completion of a surgical residency program.
- Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery required.
- Board certified or eligible in General/Colorectal Surgery.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of the appointment.
Location
Martinsburg, WV is in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, a little more than an hour from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD, close to three international airports.
