To enhance the quality and accuracy of medical record documentation, the full-time salaried Colorado RN Educator in Clinical Documentation Integrity will educate the Clinical Documentation Integrity team, perform audits, and collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance and improve documentation practices. Key responsibilities Facilitate the education and training of the Clinical Documentation Integrity team through the development of a formalized orientation process Conduct concurrent and retrospective reviews and audits to assess documentation accuracy and compliance Collaborate with providers and coding teams to clarify documentation through written queries and educational initiatives Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field (or an Associate's Degree with equivalent experience) 7-9 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years in an acute care setting 1-3 years of experience in Clinical Documentation Integrity, clinical coding, or related fields Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado Experience in education or supervisory roles is preferred
