Leading the emissions Enforcement team, the full-time Colorado Emissions Enforcement Manager will oversee operations, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and conduct performance evaluations for emissions testing facilities and inspectors in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Monitor and evaluate the performance of diesel testing stations against statutory requirements and testing standards Plan and organize the work production of the emissions unit, ensuring adherence to laws and regulations Engage with stakeholders and respond to escalated complaints regarding emissions requirements and processes Required qualifications Five years of experience in the engine/mass emissions testing industry, including customer interaction Education in mechanical, electrical, electronic, chemical, or industrial engineering, or a related field, equivalent to five years of experience Automotive-related associate's degree or Automotive Service Excellence Certification in emissions-related areas may substitute for one year of experience Knowledge of Colorado laws governing vehicle emissions Experience with engine performance and maintenance
