College Physics Tutor
Varsity Tutors is seeking a College Physics Tutor to provide online one‑on‑one instruction to college students. Sessions are delivered remotely via our Live Learning Platform.
Pay
Base pay range: $18.00/hr – $40.00/hr. Pay increases incrementally with experience up to $40/hr. Payments are processed twice per week.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, personalized instruction in college‑level physics topics.
- Design and execute lesson plans, assessments, and homework assignments.
- Use live tools, video, and AI‑powered Tutor Copilot to enhance student learning.
- Track student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instruction to meet individual learning styles.
- Maintain accurate session invoices and tutor platform records.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style.
- Expertise in college physics and ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to diverse learning styles.
- Graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s program (preferred).
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a plus.
