College of Education – Part-Time, Fixed-Term Faculty

Full‑Time Equivalent (FTE): Part Time (.74 FTE or less) per semester

Position Type: Faculty (Teaching)

Location: Greenville, N.C.

Salary Range: Commensurate with qualifications; may be outside of stated range due to budget or candidate qualifications.

Primary Purpose of Position: The College is seeking applications for short‑term, fixed‑term faculty for one or more semesters during the upcoming academic year. Positions are available under the titles of Teaching Instructor, Senior Teaching Instructor, Master Teaching Instructor, Teaching Assistant Professor, Teaching Associate Professor, Teaching Professor, Research Instructor, Research Assistant Professor, Research Associate Professor, Research Professor, Clinical Instructor, Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, and Clinical Professor.

Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Master’s degree in the teaching discipline for undergraduate courses; terminal degree in the teaching discipline for graduate courses; or alternate professional competencies such as related graduate education, professional certifications, related work experience, honors, and awards. All education must be documented from an appropriately accredited institution or certified as equivalent to the required accredited education.
