I have a client in Oakbrook looking for a Lead Collections Specialist to join their team! This role is ideal for someone with strong collections experience who enjoys building relationships, resolving payment issues, and helping improve cash flow.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer accounts and collection activities
- Follow up on past-due invoices and payment discrepancies
- Work cross-functionally with customers and internal teams
- Analyze aging reports and prioritize collection efforts
- Assist with process improvements and support team initiatives
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of collections and/or accounts receivable experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel
