Collections RepresentativeBay Disposal has an immediate opening for a Collections Representative based in Norfolk, VA. In this position you will be responsible for reaching out to our delinquent accounts via phone calls and emails, taking customer payments over the phone, setting up payment arrangements, and working to resolve problems that arise concerning service or billing.This is a full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm position with competitive pay, and excellent benefits.Pay rate: $23 - $25Job Duties:Making outbound calls and sending emails daily on delinquent accountsManaging automated calls and emailsWorking closely with various departments to reach monthly collection goalsHandle difficult customers and escalated callsWork closely with Credit Supervisor in utilizing our 3rd party collection agencyMaintain accurate notes in customer accountsProvide assistance with on line paymentsProvide customers recap of accounts for billing disputesReporting results to management and escalating problem accountsRequirements:Minimum of 1 year of credit and collections experience highly preferred.Minimum of 1 year of experience making heavy outbound collections calls highly preferred.Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel and Word experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to speak a second language is a plus!Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
