Collections Representative ICharlotte, North Carolina, United StatesThe Collections Representative is responsible for helping to achieve the company financial goals. An incumbent is responsible for contacting the high risk and delinquent accounts in an effort to effectively resolve account delinquency and prevent losses.What you'll doPerform skip tracing to contact the debtor, research each account using company records and Internet resources that are made availableContact debtors by telephone/email or mail regarding collection and recovery of outstanding accountsDevelop collections methods that consistently lead to achieving or exceeding company financial goalsWork closely with team members to create ways to bring in revenue and find success as a groupSolve problems quickly and create solutions that bring revenue on regular basisProcess repayments and refunds if neededMeet defined department goals and activity metrics as assigned by managementFollow up on promise to pay and payment commitment accounts to ensure a positive resolution and client satisfactionAn incumbent may perform additional duties as assignedWhat we're looking forHigh school diploma required1+ years' of Customer Service or Collections ExperienceExcellent communication and negotiation skills (written and oral)Patience and ability to manage stressProven ability to overcome obstacles and get resultsAbility to work independently and to adapt to a fast-changing environmentSelf-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgencyAbout AvidXchangeAvidXchange is a leading provider of accounts payable ("AP") automation software and payment solutions for middle-market businesses and their suppliers.
