Reviewing and analyzing collateral for loans, the full-time Collateral Underwriter will assess appraisal reports and collateral risk while ensuring compliance with guidelines in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Review, analyze, and render decisions on appraisal report escalations according to company and investor guidelines Complete comprehensive collateral reviews while meeting established service-level expectations Manage a pipeline of collateral files and communicate issues with Appraisers, Processors, Customers, and Account Executives/Loan Originators Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in Collateral Underwriting or Valuation Review and/or a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field Working knowledge of investor underwriting guidelines and policies Strong prioritization and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
