Responsible for assessing collateral for conventional loans, the full-time remote Collateral Underwriter will analyze appraisal reports, complete collateral reviews, and maintain communication with appraisers and processors to ensure compliance with guidelines. Key responsibilities: Analyze and evaluate appraisal reports according to agency and investor standards Conduct comprehensive collateral reviews to meet service level expectations Communicate issues and maintain a pipeline with appraisers, processors, and originators Required qualifications: 3 years of mortgage underwriting experience Experience in collateral underwriting is preferred Working knowledge of agency and investor underwriting policies Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Advanced analytical skills
