Full-Time Cold Header OperatorWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-Time Cold Header Operator to join our state-of-the-art aerospace manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating cold heading machines, particularly Nationals and Okumas, and will be responsible for producing high-precision aerospace components. This position plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the production of top-quality parts that meet the exacting standards of the aerospace industry.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain cold heading machines, including Nationals and Okumas, to produce aerospace-grade fasteners and componentsSet up, adjust, and optimize cold heading machines for various production runsMonitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent product qualityPerform regular quality checks on produced parts using precision measuring instrumentsInterpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate productionTroubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimize downtimeMaintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and proceduresCollaborate with quality control personnel to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specificationsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product qualityTrain and mentor junior operators on machine operation and best practicesMaintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisorsAdhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and quality control proceduresQualifications and RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification in machining or related field preferredMinimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Cold Header Operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or related industriesProficiency in operating cold heading machines, with specific experience on Nationals and OkumasStrong understanding of cold forming processes and techniquesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work ordersExcellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality partsProficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gaugesBasic computer skills for operating machine interfaces and recording production dataStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issuesExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
