To enhance coding education and compliance, the full-time Coding Quality Educator will research and update coding guidelines, develop training materials, and conduct audits while working remotely. Key responsibilities Research and compile coding and documentation guidelines into user-friendly manuals Develop and publish training materials for coders and providers, and conduct education sessions Perform audits, track findings, and analyze key coding metrics to identify trends Required qualifications Associate degree or 3 years of experience in a medical coding/validating role Certification required: CCS, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT; specialty certification is a plus Three to five years of experience in outpatient coding, preferably in a large multispecialty group or academic medical center High level of knowledge in ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding methodologies Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams applications
