Coding ManagerUnit: Health Information Management ServicesUnit Description: Under the general supervision of the director, the manager is responsible for the daily management of the coding department, with primary focus on hospital-based coding. This includes, but is not limited to operational, financial, clinical, performance improvement, program development, and customer relations and patient care outcomes. The manager is the primary resource person for staff.
Responsibilities also include collaboration with other departments of the Hospital to assure development, promotion, and maintenance of quality programs and services. Must be Certified Coding Specialist (CCS/CCPH) with certification copy and/or verification included with submission.
