Coding / Billing Associate SpecialistA growing healthcare company is seeking an experienced Coding / Billing Associate Specialist to join its in office team. This role will focus on managing a high volume of claims while ensuring coding and billing are accurate, efficient, and completed properly.Beyond day to day coding and billing, this person will help identify issues and inefficiencies within current workflows and improve processes to create a smoother claims and reimbursement cycle. The ideal candidate has strong hands on coding experience, understands the billing process, and can spot problems before they lead to delays or denials.Key Responsibilities:Handle a high volume of medical coding and billing claimsReview claims for coding accuracy and completeness before submissionEnsure appropriate codes are used based on documentation and services providedIdentify coding and billing errors, discrepancies, and missing informationHelp reduce claim delays, denials, and unnecessary reworkReview existing coding and billing workflows and identify opportunities for improvementImplement more efficient processes to improve the overall claims experienceTrack outstanding claims and follow up on issues as neededWork with internal teams to resolve coding, documentation, and billing concernsMaintain accurate records and ensure claims are processed efficientlyHelp create consistent processes for handling a large volume of claimsQualifications:Prior professional medical coding and billing experience requiredStrong hands on coding experience requiredExperience handling a high volume of healthcare claimsStrong understanding of medical billing and claims processesAbility to identify coding errors and billing issuesExperience improving coding or billing workflows is strongly preferredHighly detail oriented and accurateStrong organizational and problem solving skillsAbility to manage a large workload and multiple claims efficientlyComfortable working full time in officeLocation: Williamsburg, NYType: Full time, in officeSalary: $70,000 to $90,000/yearTo apply, send your resume to with the subject line: "Coding / Billing Associate Specialist | Job ID # "
