Job PostingUnder the direction of the HIM Manager, the Coder will be responsible for chart review with experience in Inpatient and Outpatient coding within the hospital setting. Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, PCS, CPT/HCPCS coding, and CCI edits. Verify completeness of medical records to ensure documentation supports the assigned codes and modifiers.
Knowledge of reimbursement systems and regulations pertaining to billing, documentation and compliance standards including federal and state regulations. Maintain coding knowledge of current coding updates, medical terminology, updated changes in healthcare regulations and maintain up to date coding certification.
