CO₂ Field Service Technician
The CO₂ Field Service Technician provides hands-on technical support for installing, maintaining, and repairing automation and CO₂ equipment at customer sites. This role involves extensive travel and requires the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities include carrying out technical assignments to install, modify, and repair factory automation equipment at customer sites, maintaining a safe work environment, operating and programming machines, preparing standard equipment documentation and reports, providing customers with timely and accurate technical information, providing equipment operation and maintenance training, managing business expenses, performing routine maintenance on equipment, and assisting in establishing preventative maintenance schedules with customers and the service coordinator.
Requirements include an associate degree in Laser, Electro, or Optics, or equivalent experience, two or more years of related experience including troubleshooting, functional PC skills, proficiency with appropriate software, ability to use hand tools, meters, gauges, schematics, and jigs, ability to travel extensively, ability to work independently with little supervision, strong attention to detail, strong diagnostic and technical aptitude, knowledge of AC and DC electrical, mechanical, and optical systems, and commitment to the company's Core Values.
Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
