Seeking a Co-worker Health Nurse to provide essential health services to staff in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities Include
- Managing co-worker health assessments, immunizations, and wellness programs.
- Supporting TB screening, respirator fit testing, and vaccine administration.
- Providing first aid and following up on work-related injuries.
- Coordinating Workers' Compensation processes and maintaining health records.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
- Preparing reports and participating in safety and wellness committees.
- Communicating effectively with staff and management regarding health matters.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as an RN or LPN, with at least 2 years of hospital or clinical experience.
- For RN: BLS certification and preferred bachelor's degree.
- For LPN: LPN license, BLS, and optional IV certification.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and prolonged standing.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
