Our employees are integral players in support of mission-critical programs focused on our National Security.Role Description:We're looking for a mission-driven CNO Developer to join our CNO (Computer Network Operations) team in support of advanced cyber capabilities. You'll help design and deliver low-level software tools and capabilities that directly enable national security missions.

This is a hands-on, impactful role for someone who thrives in reverse engineering, software development, and complex problem-solving. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with top talent in a collaborative environment focused on solving real-world problems that matter.Required Skills and Qualifications:To be eligible for this position you must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.Design and develop new CNO capabilities, tools, and applicationsIndependently contribute to full-lifecycle software development, including documentation, testing, and debuggingTroubleshoot and debug complex, low-level software systemsApply your knowledge of networking (TCP/IP), socket programming, and secure code developmentCollaborate with engineers, analysts, and mission partners to ensure performance and securityMaintain high standards for software quality, testing, and code documentationStrong proficiency in Python or C/C++Experience with network programming (TCP/IP) and socket-level developmentExperience troubleshooting and debugging complex systemsJR LCAT: Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar) and 4 years of software engineering experience (OR) High School diploma and minimum of 8 years of relevant technical experience (OR) A Master's degree in a relevant discipline and 2 years relevant technical experienceMID LCAT: Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar) and 8 years of software engineering experience (OR) High School diploma and minimum of 12 years of relevant technical experience (OR) A Master's degree in a relevant discipline and 6 years relevant technical experienceSR LCAT: Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar) and 12 years of software engineering experience (OR) High School diploma and minimum of 16 years of relevant technical experience (OR) A Master's degree in a relevant discipline and 10 years relevant technical experience (OR) A PhD in a relevant discipline and 8 years of relevant experienceDesired Skills and Qualifications:Experience developing CNO capabilities or reverse engineering softwareFamiliarity with assembly-level conceptsExperience with low-level system internals across platforms (Windows, Unix, mobile, or network devices)Understanding of unit testing and test automationFamiliarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or CruciblePay Rate:In compliance with Maryland's Equal Pay for Equal Work law, the annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $275,000. This range represents the base pay for this role and is provided in accordance with Maryland's requirements to disclose compensation in job postings. Please note that actual compensation may vary based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
