CNC Swiss Programmer / Setup Technician

If you are seeking a rewarding experience and are ready for a new adventure, we encourage you to apply!Calimesa, California, offers a welcoming community atmosphere with beautiful landscapes and convenient access to major urban centers.ResponsibilitiesProgram and set up Star CNC Machines (Swiss Type) and manufacturing cells to meet timelines.Document setups and train other personnel on proper setup and operation of jobs.Maintain awareness of project schedules and ensure jobs are set up and run based on project deadlines and budget performance.Collaborate with the Production team to identify and mitigate risks in the production process to achieve production standards and goals.Check machined parts and make work offset adjustments as required to ensure parts meet control document specifications.Follow written and verbal instructions.Required Skills/AbilitiesAbility to program CNC machines.Read and understand mechanical blueprints.Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.Good attendance and punctuality with a steady work history.Understand ISO Quality Policies and operate within its specifications.Experience with exotic metals is an asset.Professionalism in approaching others, reacting under pressure, and treating others with respect.Education/ExperienceQualified setup person with a minimum of 10 years of experience setting up and programming CNC machines for precision products.High School Diploma or GED preferred.Experience with Quality Control Plans.In-depth knowledge of CNC Programming language (G-Code).Read and understand setup sheets.Knowledge of cutting tools and cutting parameters (Speeds/Feeds).ScheduleMonday - FridayBenefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
