CNC Swiss Machinist

CNC Swiss MachinistThe CNC Swiss Machinist operates machines to fabricate finished parts to specifications while holding tolerances up to +/-.0001. The Machinist loads parts in the machine, cycles the machine, and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position communicates with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment.Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k), 401(k) matching, and an employee assistance program.Key responsibilities include upholding the company values, vision, and mission and quality policy, following company policies and procedures, CNC programming, machine setup, quality control, troubleshooting, safety and maintenance, process optimization, and other duties as assigned.Education requirements include a minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, precision machining, problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.Skills required include comprehension of complex engineering drawings, ability to hold tolerances up to +/-.0001, blueprint, GD&T, measuring equipment, basic communication, and basic shop math.Work environment includes manufacturing floor environments and controlled temperature environments.

This is a full-time hourly position required to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends. Travel is up to 0%.
