3rd Shift Cnc Set-Up/OperatorReports To: Shift FacilitatorShift Days/Hours: 10 hr. shifts (Mon-Thurs) 9:00 pm- 7:00 am. Must be willing and able to work mandatory OT on off days as necessary.Starting Pay: $23.32 TO $27.00 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCEWhat You Will Be Responsible For:Setup and adjust CNC MachinesWorking knowledge of Vertical CNC Mills (3 and 4 Axis)Working knowledge of Horizontal MillsWorking knowledge of all CNC screens and functionsWork with Quality dept.
to interpret layout dataPerform equipment/maintenance checks to include:Able to understand material handling techniques to package parts off CNC as necessaryParticipate in Continuous Improvement activitiesResponsible for all machined parts on the CNC machine.Check coolant for refractometer readingMix and fill new coolantClean machine at the end of the shiftUse and control of daily paperwork to include:Production sheetParts progress reportsJob traveler packetSPC quality sheetsOther paperwork as necessaryWork independently and as part of a team.Assist other personnel and perform other duties as required per supervisor.Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems.Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE).Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation.Able to participate in a collaborative environment.Comply with safety policies and procedures.Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the bundles meet safety standards.Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.Work Environment / Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning.What You Will Need:Able to read and understand inspection tools.
