Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programming Specialist for a direct hire opportunity with an established manufacturing organization in the Syracuse, NY area.
This position is ideal for a skilled CNC professional with strong Mastercam experience who can independently develop programs, interpret technical drawings, and support machining operations in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Support CNC milling operations and troubleshoot programming challenges.
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with programming adjustments, machining processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate programming documentation and follow established procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of CNC programming experience.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with Mastercam.
- Ability to independently develop CNC programs.
- Experience with CNC milling operations.
- Proficiency interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience programming complex components.
- Familiarity with multi-axis machining.
- Background in precision manufacturing.
- Relevant technical education or training.
