Position: CNC Operator / Machinist August 13, 2026 Location: McAllen, Texas Manufacturing / Oil & Gas Run established production safely and accurately under the technical direction of the Senior CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist, Compensation: $21–$25/hour, depending on CNC lathe experience and demonstrated inspection/setup capability 2+ years of CNC machining or machine-operation experience preferred. * CNC lathe/turning-center experience strongly preferred; Mazak/MAZATROL is a plus, not required. * High school diploma or equivalent; vocational CNC training is a plus. * Safely load, run, monitor, and unload established CNC turning jobs. * Perform approved insert changes and routine tool-offset adjustments within documented limits. * document results and preserve traceability. * Perform daily pre-start checks, coolant/chip management, housekeeping, and proper shutdown. * Follow guarding, interlock, PPE, lockout/tagout, lifting, and material-handling requirements. * Use approved lifting equipment for heavy workpieces and tooling. * Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform the essential functions of the job, with reasonable accommodation Performance expectations * First-pass quality and complete inspection records. * Stable production, appropriate escalation, and care of equipment/tooling. * Clear communication and disciplined housekeeping.
