CNC Programmer/Operator

CNC Programmer/OperatorWe are looking for a motivated and dependable CNC Lathe / Swiss / Hydromat Machine Operator to join a great manufacturing team in Maryland Heights, MO. This company is a growing precision machining operation producing high-volume, tight-tolerance components for a variety of industrial applications. This potential to hire position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, learning different manufacturing processes, and being part of a team that takes pride in producing quality parts.CNC Programmer/Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Operate CNC lathes, Swiss-style CNC machines, Hydromat rotary transfer machines, and other production equipmentLoad and unload machines and monitor production cyclesPerform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipmentFollow prints, work instructions, inspection procedures, and quality requirementsMake basic machine adjustments and offsets as needed to maintain part qualityMonitor tooling and notify appropriate personnel when tooling needs to be changed or replacedIdentify and report machining, tooling, or quality issuesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaAssist with machine setups and changeovers as skills developWork efficiently to meet production schedules and quality requirementsFollow all company safety policies and proceduresCNC Programmer/Operator Requirements:Manufacturing or machine shop experience is preferred but not requiredPrevious CNC, Swiss, Hydromat, or screw machine experience is a plusAbility to read and understand basic blueprints or mechanical drawings is preferredComfortable using basic measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometersStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality partsDependable attendance and a strong work ethicAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamWillingness to learn and develop additional machining skillsBenefits:Competitive pay based on experienceFirst-shift opportunityStable manufacturing environmentOpportunity to learn and operate multiple types of precision machining equipmentOpportunities for advancement as skills and responsibilities increaseHands-on training for qualified candidatesAbout us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
