CNC Programmer/MachinistSimi Valley, CA 93065Job Function: Manufacturing Job Number: Job DescriptionJohnson Service Group, a nationwide staffing service, is looking for a CNC Programmer/Machinist with five plus years' experience doing programming. Knowledge of Mastercam is a plus. This is a temp-direct job for an aerospace company in the Simi Valley, CA area.

$37.50 HRResponsibilities:Program, set up Lathe/Mill machines and offset tools to create First Article components.Ensures product is machined per customer specifications and ships within the timeframe allotted.Machine Print-to-Part products.Performs Live Tooling on machine.Ensure traceability of the work completed per AS9100 standards.Will self-inspect first product run, complex proto-type and machined parts using appropriate tools in order to ensure quality products.Detects and reports defective materials.Work with vendors and purchasing to order materials/parts, tooling and supplies as needed for daily operations.Perform preventative maintenance on machines as required.Job Qualifications:5+ years of prior programming experience and/or combination of experience and educationPrior machinist experience operating Lathes and Mills (experience on Doosan machines a definite plus)Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident per ITAR definitionPrevious experience using MasterCam machining software is highly desirableApplicant must be able to read and understand blueprints and complex sectional drawingsWorking knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & TolerancingFamiliarity with Microsoft Office softwareMust be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervisionJSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
