The mission-critical solutions we design and manufacture at Vitesse make our country and our world safer.Our Benefits3 Weeks of Paid Time Off10 Paid Company Observed HolidaysBirthday & Anniversary Incentives401K Employer MatchMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceCompany-paid Life InsuranceCompany-paid Short & Long-term DisabilityContinuing Education Reimbursement ProgramGenerous Referral ProgramThe RoleThe primary responsibility of the Machinist III is to program and manufacture our high precision antenna feeds.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram CNC machines according to internal policies and technical documentation using MasterCam.Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine as required.Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly.Program and manufacture antenna feeds according to readings.Interpret and apply blueprints.Apply advanced geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.Maintain quality and safety standards.Utilize hand and measurement tools to complete various manufacturing and quality assurance functions.Provide technical training to others in manufacturingParticipate in continuous improvement activitiesParticipate in technical troubleshooting and documentation as neededProvide technical training and guidance within the teamOther duties as assignedQualifications & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Related certificate in Precision Machining preferredMinimum of 8 years of machining experienceMinimum of 8 years programming CNC machines utilizing MasterCamMinimum of 8 years utilizing GD&TAbility to hold tight tolerancesStrong communication skillsStrong math skillsWorking knowledge of work rules and safety guidelinesProficiency with GD&TProficiency reading blueprintsExperience using Mastercam software is a plusVitesse Systems, LLC performs work controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
