MachinistPerform all phases of part machining including:Cost estimating for all phases of machining processReview of part/component/system technical data for completeness and accuracyProcesses definition & development of documentationIdentification of tooling, jig and fixture requirements & support/input/review of engineering designsCNC file development, test and implementationSet-upRough and finish machiningIdentification of machine tool requirementsShop layout planningProvide support to either Project Manager or mid-level/junior Engineering/Science personnel in the areas of scheduling, data gathering/limited analyses preparation of technical/project reports, test reports, drawings, specifications and associated documentationParticipate in test or project events as assigned by Project Manager or Engineering supervisorReport project status and resultsCAD development and modeling of fixturingInterpret engineering drawings, GD&T, 3D CAD models and customer specificationsTroubleshoot machining issues and modify programs to improve quality and efficiencySupport technicians during prove-out of new programsMentor and educate technicians and other programmersOther duties as assigned
