This position will be In-Office Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.Primary FunctionThe CNC Programmer III leads programming for high-value jobs, develops advanced CNC programs, and drives programming standards and process improvements across the organization.Essential Job Functions - ResponsibilitiesExpert in advanced CNC programming methods, including 3- axis, 4-axis, and 5- axis machining, verification and custom code developmentWorks across multiple software platforms (Mastercam, hyperMILL, etc.)Analyzes complex engineering drawings and develops sophisticated CNC programs for high-value jobsDeep knowledge of materials, tooling, GD&T, and advanced machining strategiesSupports quoting and planning phases with technical input and expertiseProvides comprehensive DFM (Design for Manufacturing) feedback to stakeholdersDrives programming standards, process improvements, and CAM innovationStandardizes programming approaches across parts and platformsCoaches and develops programmers and machinistsInspects complex parts using advanced precision measuring techniquesOperates and optimizes machines for maximum efficiency and qualityLeads problem-solving for complex manufacturing challengesFollows all safe work practices & safety rules and ensures team complianceDrives recommendations for process modifications to improve productivity and qualityFollow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.Education and Experience: (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)Expert proficiency programming complex 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling operationsCareer-level programmer with expert knowledge of advanced CNC methodsExpert proficiency in multiple CAM software platforms (Mastercam, hyperMILL, etc.)Advanced understanding of GD&T, materials science, and machining strategiesProven leadership and coaching abilitiesExcellent written and verbal English language communication skillsOutstanding teamwork/interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholdersPass a post-offer background verificationDemonstrate commitment and adherence to Sigma Design Core ValuesWork Environment: Standard machine shop environment with various types of machinery. Appropriate safety garments (PPE) must be worn. Must be able to stand and work as long as 12 hours in different positions.
