The CNC Programmer will prepare production files for vinyl plotters and CNC routing machines by translating engineering blueprints and CAD models into G-code/M-Code for automated tools. Optimizing the machine paths of the cutting tools to produce high quality manufactured parts.Candidates must possess the following:Use CAD/CAM software to write, debug and code CNC MachinesAbility to read production drawings and use a scale rule if neededAdjust machine settings and tool paths to enhance efficiency to achieve high-quality standardTroubleshoot code errors or mechanical issuesMust have good mathematical skillsUnderstanding of cutting tools, materials and machining process.Background in the sign-making or graphics industry helpful but not requiredExperience using one of the following software types is required: Enroute, Casmate, Flexi-sign, Adobe Illustrator or other graphics or CAD softwareExceptional attention to detail needed to ensure accurate and precise manufacturingBenefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term & Long Term Disability, PTO, Holiday Pay, 401K
