If so, Precision Signs is looking for a CNC Programmer - Custom Fabricator to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in programming and operating CNC equipment, including HAAS VMCs, Waterjets, and 3-axis Gantry machines. We offer:Competitive pay, starting at $35.00 per hour based on experience, with overtime opportunities availableComprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time off and holiday policiesA close-knit, collaborative team where your skills are recognized and valuedOpportunities for professional growth, cross-training, and hands-on experience in diverse areas of productionWhat You'll DoProgram, set up, and operate CNC equipment, including Vertical Milling Center, Waterjet systems, and 3-axis Gantry machinesDevelop, prototype, and modify 3D models and toolpaths to optimize machining processesWrite, adjust, and optimize G-code to ensure smooth and precise machiningTroubleshoot machining errors, programming challenges, and equipment issues to improve efficiencyDesign and fabricate custom fixtures to ensure material stability during machiningCollaborate with the production, design, and quality teams to align on project goals; Inspect and test parts to meet strict quality standardsWhat You Bring5+ years of experience programming and operating CNC VMCs, with a deep understanding of G-code (HAAS experience preferred)Certification or degree in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Programming, or a related fieldExperience with 3-axis Gantry machines like Waterjets and Techno routersProficiency in CAD/CAM (Autodesk Inventor, Aspire/Carve) software for creating and modifying machining programsAttention to detail and a passion for high-quality custom workStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetAbility to operate manual machines (e.g., Bridgeport) is a plusAbout Us Founded in 1983, Precision Signs is a world-class, Long Island based, architectural signage provider.
