CNC Programmer/MachinistWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to take ownership of programming, setup, operation, and process optimization for our 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling operations.This is not a production role running the same parts repeatedly. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys programming complex aerospace components, solving manufacturing challenges, and continuously improving machining processes in a high-mix, low-volume environment.The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in Mastercam programming and comfortable owning projects from material selection through final inspection.If you're passionate about aerospace manufacturing, enjoy solving complex machining challenges, and want to be part of a growing company where your work truly matters, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoProgram, setup, and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling machines using MastercamDevelop efficient machining strategies, tool paths, fixtures, and workholding solutionsOptimize cycle times, tooling, setups, and overall manufacturing processesSupport and leverage automation cells for lights-out manufacturing and production efficiencyRead and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirementsPerform in-process inspections and self-verification of finished componentsMaintain compliance with AS9100 quality standards and documentation requirementsCollaborate with machinists, programmers, inspectors, and leadership to solve technical challengesTroubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvementsSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the shopAssist with lathe operations when needed (preferred but not required)Required Qualifications5+ years of CNC milling experience2+ years of Mastercam programming experienceExperience programming and setting up 3-axis, 4-axis, and/or 5-axis CNC millsStrong understanding of GD&T and blueprint readingExperience developing setups, fixtures, tooling strategies, and machining processesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammatesExcellent communication and accountabilityPreferred QualificationsAerospace manufacturing experienceAS9100 experienceHigh-mix, low-volume machining experienceAutomation cell experienceLive-tooling CNC lathe experienceFixture design experienceLights-out manufacturing experienceExperience machining complex prototype components
