CNC Programmer - 3-5 Axis ProgrammingLocation: Livermore, CA on-siteCompensation: $90k - $150k annually DOEAbout the Role: A leading advanced manufacturing company in the Livermore area is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to support high-precision machining operations. This role focuses on multi-axis (3-5 axis) programming, process development, and optimization for complex, tight-tolerance components.Key Responsibilities:Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machiningCreate setup sheets, tooling plans, and work instructionsProve out programs on machines and support shop floor operationsOptimize feeds, speeds, toolpaths, and cycle timesTroubleshoot machining and process issuesCollaborate with machinists, engineering, and quality teamsSupport continuous improvement and production efficiencyRequired Qualifications:5+ years of CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environmentStrong Mastercam experience (3-5 axis programming)Multi-axis machining experience (5-axis preferred)Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&TStrong understanding of tooling, fixturing, and machining processesAbility to work cross-functionally with production and engineering teamsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with HypreMill, or VericutBackground in Semiconductor, Aerospace or similar high precision manufacturingExperience in high-mix, low volumeBenefits:Competitive PayMedical, dental, vision coverage401(k) with company match (immediate vesting)Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)PTO + paid holidaysTuition reimbursementDisability insuranceFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
