CNC Press Brake Setup & ProgrammerWe are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Setup & Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role responsible for independently programming, setting up, and operating CNC press brakes to produce high-quality sheet metal components to customer specifications.The ideal candidate is a skilled fabricator who can read blueprints, determine bend sequences, select tooling, perform complete machine setups, and ensure parts meet quality requirements from first-piece inspection through production. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works safely, and contributes to a positive team environment.Schedule1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AMOccasional overtime on Fridays may be required based on production demands.Essential ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate CNC press brake equipment to produce precision sheet metal componentsInterpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine tooling, bend sequences, and machine setup requirementsSelect, install, and align tooling to ensure efficient production and dimensional accuracyPerform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instrumentsVerify part dimensions and quality standards while maintaining required production ratesTroubleshoot machine, tooling, and forming issues to minimize downtime and scrapPerform routine machine maintenance and daily equipment inspectionsAccurately record production and quality information as requiredMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentWork collaboratively with production, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to meet customer and production requirementsFollow all company safety policies and proceduresRequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC press brakes in a manufacturing environmentStrong sheet metal fabrication background with the ability to form a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminumAbility to independently perform complete machine setups with minimal supervisionExperience determining tooling requirements and bend sequences from engineering drawingsProficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructionsWorking knowledge of press brake tooling, setup techniques, and preventative maintenanceExperience using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection toolsStrong math skills, including fractions, decimals, and metric conversionsAbility to identify and resolve quality and production issuesExperience with Amada® and/or Safan Darley® press brakes is highly preferredWhat Makes Someone Successful in This RoleStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Safety-focused mindset.Positive attitude and professional approach to teamwork.Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.Flexible and willing to support production priorities.Pride in producing high-quality work and continuous improvement.Why Work for Us?We're a family owned business serving the Midwest and beyond with custom quality sheet metal parts and assemblies for over four generations.
