Press Brake OperatorA manufacturing company is seeking a Press Brake Operator to perform set-up, operation, and light maintenance of the machines and tools to safely and efficiently produce carbon steel, stainless, steel, and aluminum, and to ensure conformance to customer drawing, quality, and engineering requirements and specifications. You will work first shift Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
with Friday to be used for voluntary and mandatory overtime.Job ResponsibilitiesOperate production equipment to produce assigned products in accordance with instructions and standards using CNC and Mechanical Press Brakes and proper toolingComplete equipment and tooling set-ups in accordance with company procedures, customer specifications, and quality requirementsNotify supervisor of any product discrepancies, machine malfunctions, or tooling issuesRecord length of time, quantity of parts made or scrapped, and materials used for each jobInspect parts and document findings on appropriate paperworkMaintain work area in a safe clean, and orderly manner and return tools and samples to designated areasAdhere to company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
