3rd Shift Production EngineerAs a 3rd Shift Production Engineer, your duties will include:Process ownership of metal cutting CNC equipment, work holding, tooling and programmingCreate and maintain scroll machining process documentationProvide front line technical support for multiple plant processesDevelop / implement process improvements & cost reductionsComprehend & modify CNC, PLC and Robotic programsLead and participate in cost reduction teams and capital planningProvide focus on safety, quality, downtime, manning & throughputRequired education, experience & skills:Four-year technical degree plus one year experience (co-op/intern exp. may be considered) or equivalent combination of education and experience (i.e Associate's degree plus equivalent experience in a technical role related to manufacturing)Strong technical background displaying experience with Allen Bradley software, Fanuc robotics, CNC machining equipment and advanced trouble-shooting methods.Strong analytical & problem-solving skills showcasing initiative to go above and beyondGood organizational, presentation and project management skills to interact within all levels of the companyPrevious experience with CNC machining methods, controls, and processesPractical computing skills including Microsoft Office suiteAbility to manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environmentLegal Authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this rolePreferred education, experience & skills:Four-year technical degree plus one year experience (co-op/intern exp. may be considered) or equivalent combination of education and experience (i.e Associate's degree plus equivalent experience in a technical role related to manufacturing)Technical support experience in high volume, fast-paced environmentAdvanced CNC/PLC programmingExperience with Lean Principles and 5S+1
