See for yourself what makes Steel Tech Enterprises a great place to work!Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate a CNC MachineChanges tooling within machinePerform quality checks using Quality Department approved tools to determine accuracy to blueprintInform the necessary supervisor/lead person of any equipment-related problems or concerns that may affect the quality of parts produced.Clocking on jobs and parts accuratelyFollow instructions from all Steel Tech Enterprises and equipment documentation, including Shop Traveler, equipment manuals, and blueprints.Maintain all required documentationExhibits consistent safe working habitsWears all required Personal protective Equipment (PPE)Maintain clean, clutter-free work areaPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesA willingness to learn and be trained on machine operator related tasks.General skills with hand and air toolsAbility to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsBasic math skillsAbility to read different measuring toolsPhysical RequirementsAbility to routinely bend and squatAbility to occasionally climb stairs, ladders, or platformsAbility to walk and stand for prolonged periodsAbility to repetitively graspAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentWorking ConditionsThis is a safety-sensitive position.
