Cnc Operator

CNC OperatorAs a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless production of parts. Your responsibilities will include running setup parts through operations, inspecting them with precision tools, and ensuring the absence of downtime to meet customer specifications.ResponsibilitiesRun setup parts through operations and collaborate with quality for approval.Complete machining operations, deburring, cleaning, and packaging.Tear down tooling and clean mills post-production.Assist in machining production tooling components as needed.Communicate job progress and potential delays with the Project Manager.Participate in material management using the Kan-ban system.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, aligning with quoted hours and material estimates.Complete jobs on schedule, providing timely updates on delivery status or delays to the Project Manager and Lead.Advise the Lead of any issues.Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and tasks assigned by management and the team lead.Comply with the rules and guidelines outlined in the Pattern Work Instruction SOPs.Mandatory cross-training with mold building and other relevant jobs.Work in a safe manner.Demonstrate competency and proficiency with the tools and processes being used.Essential Skills1+ years of CNC Operating experience.Competency in button pressing.Experience with casting is desirable.Familiarity with CNC operation, blueprint reading, micrometers, and calipers.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to multi-task and cross-train on multiple duties.Team player with a self-motivated work ethic.Preference for candidates with experience in the mentioned tasks.Why Work Here?Join a small shop with a great culture where you will work on prototypes, ensuring every day is different. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
