CNC OperatorWe are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, maintaining quality standards, performing machine setup adjustments, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently. This position offers a stable work environment, opportunities for growth, and competitive compensation.ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC milling and/or turning machines according to production schedules and work instructions.Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Perform routine machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance.Make minor tool and offset adjustments to maintain part quality.Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues.Document production data, inspection results, and quality records.Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.Maintain a clean and organized work area.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GED.2+ years of CNC operating experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.Experience using precision measuring equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.PreferredExperience with Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Fanuc, or similar controls.Technical certification or vocational training in machining or manufacturing.SkillsCNC Machine OperationBlueprint ReadingQuality InspectionMeasurement and GaugingProblem SolvingTeamworkSafety AwarenessTime ManagementBenefitsCompetitive payHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOvertime opportunitiesCareer advancement and training programsEmployee referral programJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Machesney Park, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
