Cnc Operator

CNC Machine OperatorThis role is responsible for operating CNC mills and/or lathes to produce high-quality parts that meet strict quality and tolerance requirements. Ideal candidates have experience working from detailed prints, performing in-process inspections, and maintaining consistent quality in a production setting.ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC milling and/or turning machines to manufacture precision partsLoad and unload raw material and finished parts safely and efficientlyRun existing CNC programs and monitor machining operations for accuracy and consistencyPerform tool changes, offset adjustments, and minor program edits as required (based on skill level)Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and work instructionsConduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring toolsVerify part dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes meet aerospace specificationsDocument inspection results and production data per quality requirementsIdentify and report non-conforming parts or process issuesPerform routine machine checks and basic preventative maintenanceMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all aerospace quality standards, safety policies, and proceduresSkills & QualificationsExperience operating CNC mills and/or lathes in a production environmentAbility to read and work from blueprints and technical drawingsExperience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Strong attention to detail and qualityUnderstanding of machining fundamentals (feeds, speeds, tooling wear)Ability to follow documented processes and quality proceduresReliable attendance and ability to work in a team-based environmentJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ladson, SC.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
