CNC Operator III Weekend ShiftThe CNC Operator III is responsible for setting up and operating CNC Horizontals and Verticals per complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, job orders, tooling instructions, and standard charts.Position qualifications/requirements:3+ years of experience in fully operating, loading, and unloading fixtures on CNC machines3+ years of experience reading blueprints and drawingsAt least 1 year of experience in set up of previously ran jobsDemonstrated ability to read drawings and understand tolerancesPreferred skills:Knowledge of changing tool and work offsets to dial in partsKnowledge of Manual Machines is preferredExcellent attention to detailCore duties:Read drawings and understand tolerances to inform set up and operationSet up process of CNC Horizontals and/or Verticals with no assistanceComplete tool changes and make tool offsetsInspect and measure finished products and compare them with the required documents to determine if the process has been completed properlyOperate and oversee CNC MachinesHours:Weekend ShiftFriday through Sunday, 5:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.OT if neededSpecial requirements:Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.
