CNC Operator II 2nd ShiftThe CNC Operator II is responsible for operating CNC Horizontals and Verticals per complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, job orders, tooling instructions, and standard charts.Position Qualifications/Requirements:At least 1 years of experience in operating, loading, and unloading parts on CNC machinesAt least 1 years of experience running CNC Horizontal and/or Vertical machines, and basic CNC machiningAt least 1 years of using Calipers and other measurement toolsDemonstrated ability to read drawings and understand tolerancesPreferred Skills:Excellent attention to detailKnowledge of manual machines is preferredCore Duties:Operating, loading, and unloading parts on CNC machinesComplete tool changes and make tool offsetsInspect and measure finished products and compare them with the required documents to determine if the process has been completed properlyMake required adjustments to machinery to compensate for tool wearTroubleshoot and resolve various types of operating difficultiesLearning to do set-ups for new jobs with assistanceHours:2nd shiftMonday - Thursday, 3:00 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.Friday OT if neededSpecial Requirements:Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.
